As an avid birdwatcher and lover of nature, the proprietor is passionate about sharing her love for birds with others. In addition to offering stunning yarns, Songbird Fibres is committed to giving back to the conservation efforts of Birds Canada, donating $2.00 from every bird-inspired skein purchase. Using acid dyes, Songbird Fibres creates squishy, vibrant skeins that are dyed in small batches in a smoke-free home. While batches may be similar, each is unique due to different immersion and hand painting techniques.
